About Baba Bhaskar Pawar Vrudhashram Trust

Baba Bhaskar Pawar Vrudhashram Trust was established in 2013  by Late Shri Baba Bhaskar Pawar, a retired military personnel who devoted his post-retirement life to the service of the elderly and physically challenged. His dream was to provide a safe, dignified, and compassionate place for the needy, regardless of their caste, community, or religion. After his passing away, his son, Mr. Amar Bhaskar Pawar, who carries on his father’s work with unshakeable commitment, makes sure that each of the residents at the Vrudhashram gets the care, respect, and love they are worthy of. Situated in Sakawar Village, Virar East, District Palghar, Maharashtra, the Vrudhashram is an area of one acre of land that has been inherited through generations in Mr. Amar Bhaskar Pawar’s family. Running as a non-governmental organization with no government funding the trust survives and functions only on the basis of public donations and community support.
